Please know that if you use your insurance for therapy, that might put limits on the frequency of sessions we may have and that insurance can access your medical records. If your deductible is high, your fee through insurance might be higher than my private pay fee. I can run your plan to see your estimated fee if you'd like to use your insurance, just let me know. Generally, I take all Cigna plans, BCBS PPO, and Aetna PPO plans.
I offer insurance reimbursement to aid in making therapy affordable. This means that you would pay the full fee on the day of the session, and your insurance company would pay you back (reimbursement). If you're interested in this, please let me know and I can provide superbills that you can submit to your insurance for this reimbursement. This may allow you increased privacy and freedom in your therapy rather than going through insurance directly.
I am not able to take Medicare or Medicaid clients at this time, even if you don’t use your Medicaid or Medicare.

Because I am trained in some areas of therapy and not others, there are some issues outside of my scope of practice.
I typically do not see clients whose primary concerns include addiction, parent-child conflict, self-harm, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, chronic suicidality, chronic/treatment resistant depression, eating disorders, OCD, active trauma situations, and ADHD. I do see clients who have these things, but only when they are not the primary concern and you don't feel as if you need help in those areas. If I determine that you do need more assistance in these specific areas, I will refer you out to a provider who is a better fit. -
No, I do not provide couples, relationship, marital, family, or joint therapy as I am not trained to do so. If you’re looking for an LGBTQ Affirming relationship therapist, contact me and I can provide trusted referrals.

I see ages 13 to 65, but sometimes exceptions can be made. This is because I don't offer play therapy, and I'm not trained to work with elder adults. If you're looking for services outside of this age range, you can still reach out and I'll provide trusted referrals.
